“A mother’s love is something that no one can explain. It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain. It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may, for nothing can destroy or take that love away… It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking,” from a book named “Mother, I love you,” by Helen Steiner Rice.
This reminds me of a true story of a single mother who has
dedicated her whole life fulfilling her duty as a mother of nine children.
Despite how hard life had been, she had never given up and still persists even
at the age of 84 years old.

What makes her even more admirable is when her ex-husband, who has abandoned her and her children for
couple decades, had fallen sick, she received him back wholeheartedly and
cared for him until he breathed his last breath. The very same father who had
caused her son to lose his sanity, but still she continues to have faith and
has positive attitude.
I am not sure how many of us would approve this dedication
or even able to live the way she is. Regardless, life is about choices and hopefully we pick a choice that we will not shed a single
regret when looking back.
A mother’s dedication is immeasurable and a lot of emotions
have gone behind the locked door where many of us don’t know or seem to
understand. Whatever they are, this mother has chosen the path to dedicate her
whole life for her family, including a man who had forsaken her.
Here by, I am dedicating this blog for this admirable woman
and all of the women in the world who have gone above and beyond her devotion
for her loved ones.
As I am making another step into my journey, I would take this
thought, dedication, with me and
continue to be inspired by this admirable woman. I hope you would do the same.

Thank you! I will soon respond ...
DeleteNot sure I admire the dedication that lead her to bring a man back into her life who harmed her and her children. I see that more as risky than devoted. I hope that man knew he was blessed by her existence. I am sure there is special place in heaven for her.
ReplyDeleteYeah ...me too. I guess that is her choice and she seems to be happy--that is what matter.
